System Admin Advisor @ DELL Bangalore Experience: 2-4 yrs

Job Summary:
Responsible for daily operation of enterprise VM/Citrix/Wintel server systems. Performs installation, customization and maintenance of the operating system and systems software products in support of business processing requirements. Performs system software installations and upgrades system software changes. Prescribes system backup procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Monitors the health of the server platforms to achieve optimum performance levels and makes preventative adjustments as necessary. Ensures maintenance of physical integrity on all production servers. Provides in-depth diagnosis for operational systems software/hardware failures and develops solutions. Must be able to relate technical issues and requirements to business issues and vice versa and be able to communicate these to non-technical associates and customers. Candidate will be required to participate within an on-call schedule.
