Job Details - Young Graduate Trainee

Eligibility :Candidates from BE/BTech (CS/IT/IS/ECE/EEE) from 2014/ 2015 batches with 65% throughout.

 

Position 1: Java Programmer for Eclipse Based Tool Development

Key Competencies Required:

• Java programming Expert
• Can write production quality code.
• Participate in reviews as lead reviewer
• Can train & mentor juniors
• Experience of Eclipse based tool development using technologies like Plug-in Development, EMF, Graphiti, X-text, GEF, Java Script and CDT

1. Capable of writing production quality code independently.

2. Capable of writing Unit test cases

3. Thorough understanding of advanced concepts viz., threads, synchronization, memory & performance optimization etc. demonstrated through his deliverables.

4. Basic understanding/awareness of Eclipse framework related technologies viz., EMF, GEF, Graphiti, XWT, XTEXT etc.,

5. Able to understand the application architecture & design (UML diagrams)

• Participate in software requirements analysis and ambiguity resolution
• Author architecture, design, test specifications and customer release documents
• Provide technical solutions to customer change requests
• Conceive and develop verification/validation/test automation infrastructure for topics in own responsibility
• Experienced in working in Scrum/Kanban teams and understand Agile methodologies well.

Position 2: Post Silicon Validation

Objective: The candidate will be responsible for validation of individual IP Modules and/or SoC within Validation team. He/She will lead one or more functional areas and contribute to the Si development / validation for Micro Controller organization for Automotive.

Areas of responsibility:

• Development of Post-Silicon validation collateral & methodologies
• Writing validation tests and execute by simulating and/or running on Silicon
• Candidates will need to debug failing tests, then work with designers and architects to resolve issues
• Successful candidates can anticipate failure modes, and write test content to stress the design and identify bugs
• Candidate will analyze coverage gaps and develop strategies to fill coverage holes
• The quality of the design and the final product is directly proportional to the quality of the design validation work.
• Strong discipline and attention to detail in ensuring effective and high quality validation that minimizes bug escapes to customers

Position 3: Embedded Software Tool Integration

Areas of Responsibility:

• Microcontroller Device Driver Software development and testing for various peripherals of Infineon’s microcontrollers based on ARM cortex M0, M4 (e.g. Ethernet, USB,UART,CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN, Flash, Timers, PWM, Lighting systems, Human Machine Interface, SDMMC etc)
• Application/UI development/Testing in Eclipse environment
• Author test specifications and customer documents
• Participate in software reviews and Provide technical solutions
• Conceive and develop validation/Test infrastructure for topics in own responsibility
• Liaise with Application engineers on a need basis

Position 4: Automotive chipsets

Objective : Development and Verification of Low level driver and register header files for Infineon’s Automotive chipsets

 

Area of Responsibility:

• Development & Verification of various peripherals of Infineon’s
• automotive microcontrollers based on TriCore.
• Interact with Concept & chip development engineers on a need basis

Note:

• It will be a fixed term contract for 24 months with Infineon 
• Candidates Will be working on live projects of Automotive or Post Silicon Validation or Industrial Microcontrollers Dept 
• There will 4 half yearly appraisals to evaluate performance
